Plastic Hopper
The flexible plastic hopper is easily removed from the machine for cleaning without the use of tools. The plastic contains an ultraviolet inhibitor to counteract embrittlement caused by sunlight - essential to provide a long service life. The hopper profile is designed to deliver good flow characteristics.
Stainless Steel Sieve
All models in the XT range are now fitted with low level Stainless Steel Sieve as standard.
The Shutter
Deep section rotor vanes are fed from triangular apertures controlled by a stainless steel shutter plate which is manually operated from the tractor seat via a push/pull lever. A hydraulically operated shutter control is available as an optional extra on the XT20.
Stainless Steel Spreading System
Stainless steel is used extensively in the shutter and rotor to reduce corrosion.
Rotor Gearbox
The spreading rotor is driven through an enclosed bevel gearbox.
Simple Rate Adjustment
A single screw adjuster is used to set the rate.
Powder Coated Frame
The frame is shot blasted and powder coated to provide the best protection against fertiliser.
