Plastic Hopper XT24/28
The flexible plastic hopper is easily removed from the machine for cleaning without the use of tools. The plastic contains an ultraviolet inhibitor to counteract embrittlement caused by sunlight - essential to provide a long service life. The hopper profile is designed to deliver good flow characteristics.
Stainless Steel Sieve
All models in the XT range are now fitted with low level Stainless Steel Sieve as standard.
Powder Coated Frame
The frame is shot blasted and powder coated to provide the best protection against fertiliser.
Simple Rate Adjustment
In both the XT24 and XT48 models a single screw adjuster is used to set the rate.
Stainless Steel Spreading System
Stainless steel is used extensively in the shutter and rotor to reduce corrosion.
Headland Tilt Mechanism
A rope operated tilt mechanism is fitted as standard to incline the machine for spreading of the headland bout. When the machine is tilted the spread pattern is concentrated on the boundary side, giving an even spread over the whole field. A hydraulically operated tilt mechanism is available as an optional extra on the XT48.

Band Spreading Kit Available for both XT24 and XT48, the band spreading kit is designed for applications such as orchards where fertiliser is required to be spread only in the area to both sides of the machine.
High Lift Legs Available for the XT48, the high lift legs give an additional spread height of 22cms for top dressing of crops.
Hopper Cover Available for both XT24 and XT48 models, for either standard or extended hoppers. The hopper cover fits neatly over the top of the hopper for wet weather operation.
Hydraulic Tilt Kit XT48 Available on the XT48 only, a hydraulic ram can be fitted to the tilt bracket to enable it to be operated hydraulically from the tractor seat.
Hopper Extension One piece hopper extensions are available for both models, extending the XT24 by 150 litres, and the XT48 by 200 litres. The steel extensions bolt onto the top of the plastic hopper and can be removed.
Hydraulic Shutter Control Operate the shutter remotely with the hydraulic shutter control kit.
Powder Agitator For materials with poor flow characteristics we recommend the powder agitator. Please note this option can not be used when the hopper sieve is fitted.
